Design of this lovely campground began in the late 1990's. Under new ownership and management as of November 2020 - the campground continues to expand and evolve to provide a natural, yet comfortable camping experience for our guests. Our well maintained grounds and sites enjoy the following amenities: Bath house for men and women with hot showers and flush toilets. Full hook up sites with 50/30 amp service, water & sewer. Pull thru sites, a catch & release fishing pond, free fiber optic wifi internet access at your site. Primitive tent camping sites creekside, close to flush toilets & the camp store/office. All sites have a picnic table and fire ring. Trash is picked up daily. Firewood bundles available for sale and delivery to your site. The sounds of two creeks trickling through the campground can be heard from almost every site. We are a peaceful, quiet oasis in the northern Georgia mountains! We offer year round camping, a registration office and camp store. We have several choices of camping experiences - beautifully primitive tent sites to full hook up - available nightly, monthly, seasonally and year round. Cabins will be available in early summer 2023! * self contained units only from first freeze to last freeze (approximately December to April as our bathrooms and shower house are winterized).

Tommie and Martha Alexander opened Trackrock Campground and Cabins in July, 1966. It is still owned and operated by the Alexander family, and we would love to welcome you to our 250-acre paradise in the north Georgia mountains! We are bordered on three sides by the Chattahoochee National Forest; completely isolated from all other commercial developments. While here, you will enjoy our rolling grasslands, meadows, woodlands, and mountain views. We are located between Blairsville and Hiawassee, Georgia; and are just two hours from Atlanta, Chattanooga, Asheville, or Greenville. With 95 level, shady, campsites, Trackrock offers camping for everyone – tents, pop-ups, and RVs (40' max) – with full hook-up sites (30- or 50-amp, water, and sewer); as well as water and electric sites for tent campers. We are happy to host Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, group camping, family gatherings, and church groups. For those who prefer not to camp, we have five cozy, comfortable two-bedroom cabins that will sleep up to four or six people. The cabins are fully furnished and ready for your visit with full kitchens and baths, a fireplace, covered porches with rocking chairs, and all modern amenities including air conditioning and satellite TV. Two of the cabins are pet-friendly. All sites, including the cabins, have a picnic table and fire ring; and our two modern bath houses have electricity and hot showers. For fun, we have swimming in the lake, fishing, playgrounds, hiking trails, summer hayrides, picnic pavilions, a game room, summer horse camps, riding lessons, and more.
