YMCA Camp Sherwin Family Campground & Outdoor Center

YMCA Camp Sherwin, located on the banks of Lake Erie, is a public outdoor recreation and camping center. We have been serving the region since 1912 as a destination for family and youth recreation and outdoor exploration. It is the perfect place to spend summer days! Organized activities keep the kiddos smiling! And, when fall comes, Camp’s extended season is ideal for hunters, fishermen, families and groups. Relax at your campsite, in the park or by the heated pool. Enjoy the great outdoors while fishing in our pond, walking along the beach or hiking in the woods. You’ll discover a friendly recreational community regardless of the camping style that you choose. We offer tent, RV (water/electric and full hook-up) as well as modern or rustic cabins. Our Cabin, RV and tent check in is 3:00 p.m. and check out is by12 noon. Many of our sites include a picnic table and fire ring. Please check the site description to verify items provided. We have five modern cabins and a full house, as well as rustic cabins. Cabins for just about any size family or group. We have cabins that sleep 4 people up to 14 people. Each cabin is unique. Cabins include a fire-pit, picnic table and charcoal grill. Most all cabins have kitchen facilities of some kind and 7 have full facilities including toilets and showers. Please plan to bring your own bed linens for the cabins. Hall/Pavilion rentals available Saturdays and Sundays only. There are three different halls/pavilions available for wedding receptions, family reunions, graduation parties, church picnics, company picnics or any other function you may want to host.
