Pioneer Family Campground

Pioneer Family Campground is a family owned and operated campground with a safe, family friendly, traditional outdoor experience. Located 10 driving minutes off 1-65 at exit 230. Only 35 miles from northwest Indiana cities and 90 driving minutes from Chicago. Our larger than average, peaceful, rustic campsites offer a perfect place for a retreat, reunion weekend or a simple getaway from the hustle and bustle of life. Fish or swim in our pond during the day & sit by the fire and enjoy the sounds of crickets and a whipper will in the evening. Take a drive to Fair Oaks Farm to see a real dairy farm at work or shop for local crafts at Amish Acres. Come back to the campgrounds to curl up with a good book, site by the fire and relax or take a stroll on our trails. Birder watchers love our area, where they can see a variety of species. We have Wood & Ice available in our Camp Store. We also have a small selection of RV Products, souvenirs, snacks, and assorted selection of condiments & toiletries.
