Drive-in tent-only campsite Located in a mesic hammock near State Road 415 in Volusia County, the Palm Bluff Conservation Area primitive campsite has plenty of tent space underneath the tall pines. The drive-in campsite is equipped with a fire ring with grill attachment surrounded by four benches, a picnic table and a non-potable water pitcher pump. There are no restrooms. This campsite is a great choice for groups who enjoy primitive tent camping, with a large parking area nearby for overflow vehicles. The campsite is accessed through a gate on the parking area's south fence line. Palm Bluff Conservation Area is located down a dirt drive on the east side of State Road 415, approximately 8 miles south of State Road 44, or approximately 4 miles north of Osteen. Camping reservations are required at least 48 hours in advance and may be made up to 90 days in advance. At the time of booking, vehicle makes, models and license plate numbers are required for all vehicles (maximum four) accessing the gate to the campsite. RVs, campers, dirt bikes, ATVs and UTVs are prohibited. A special feature of the property is Deep Creek, which spans the length of the conservation area from north to south. Recreational activities at Palm Bluff Conservation Area include hiking, horseback riding, bicycling, wildlife viewing and birding.
