Drive-in tent-only campsite Among the special highlights of Moses Creek Conservation Area are its canopied dirt roads that serve as biking and hiking trails beneath grand old live oaks, through scrub habitat, to sandy bluffs overlooking Moses Creek. The drive-in campsite at Moses Creek Conservation Area features a pavilion, benches, non-potable water pitcher pump and portable toilet. O nly primitive tent camping is allowed on District lands. Recreational vehicles (RVs, campers, camper vans, etc.) are prohibited at the campsite and may not be parked overnight in District parking areas. ATVs, UTVs and dirt bikes are prohibited on District lands. Reservations are required at least 48 hours in advance and may be made up to 90 days in advance. When booking the campsite, be prepared with your vehicle(s) makes, models and license plate numbers, which are required for vehicles accessing the gate to the campsite. The access gate to the drive-in campsite is located in the east parking area at 1300 State Road 206 E., St. Augustine, FL. (There are two parking areas -- East and West -- at Moses Creek Conservation Area on State Road 206.) Recreational opportunities at Moses Creek Conservation Area include hiking, wildlife viewing, picnicking, nature study, bicycling, horseback riding and fishing. Moses Creek is popular with kayakers who wait for high tide to explore the creek as it winds its way through tall marsh grasses. Note, there are no boat or kayak launches located on the property.
