Drive-in tent-only campsite The Barrs Hammock campsite is secluded under large live oaks just off the swamp edge of Lake George. The conservation area's marked multi-use recreational trail system can be accessed directly from the campsite. Only primitive tent camping is allowed. No RVs, camper vans, motorhomes, truck campers or travel trailers are allowed at the campsite and may not be parked overnight in District parking areas. This campsite has a picnic table, fire ring, benches and non-potable water pitcher pump. This site does not have restroom facilities. Advance reservations are required and must be made a full 48 hours in advance. Reservations may be made up to 90 days in advance. Vehicle make, model and license plate number are required for all vehicles accessing the campsite. The campsite may be access Barrs Road about a mile west of the intersection with Truck Trail 2 (Union Bag Trail). The intersection is two miles north of County Road 305 (Lake George Road) and about 2.5 miles west of Seville.
