Located on Hells Canyon Road, six miles downstream of Copperfield Park. Campgrounds fill up quickly. Reservations are strongly encouraged to ensure you will have a spot when you arrive. Water has been turned on for the season. Due to the heat sprinklers run most days in the grass/tent section. Camp host is on site early April until Labor Day Please enjoy the outdoors safely, and remember to wear a safety vest when recreating in, on or around the water! Day use in the park is free. 21 RV sites (parallel parking) with water and electric hookups (30-amp) 3 dry RV sites (in the boat ramp parking lot) with electric hookups 3 RV waterfront sites (parallel parking) – no water or electric hookups 7 tent sites Picnic area with tables Fire rings Public pay phone (phone card required for non-local calls) Road status: Call 541-785-7251 to get a recorded status update about the road condition between Oxbow and Hells Canyon Dam. This is road is sometimes closed due to maintenance or road conditions. Reservation fee is non-refundable. Cancellations If a reservation is canceled 14 days or more prior to the scheduled arrival date, the camping fee will be refunded minus a $10 cancellation charge. If a reservation is canceled 13 days or less prior to the arrival date, the camping fee will be refunded minus a $10 cancellation charge and the first night’s camping fee. View more information on fees, changes and cancellations . Rules There is a 14-day stay limit for all parks. Check-in time is 2 p.m. MDT (local park time). Check-out time is 1 p.m. MDT (local park time). Only one camping unit (maximum eight persons) per designated campsite is permitted. A person may reserve no more than two (2) sites at one campground on the same dates. If more sites are needed, additional reservations must be made by a different person. View our policies .
