Located at the end of Cottonwood Road, near mile marker 72 on Idaho Highway 78, and approximately 26 miles south of Mountain Home. Drinking water is available. Campgrounds fill up quickly. Reservations are strongly encouraged to ensure you will have a spot when you arrive. Camp hosts are on site every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at Cottonwood, North, and Scout early April until Labor Day Please enjoy the outdoors safely, and remember to wear a safety vest when recreating in, on or around the water! Cottonwood Park is a 12-acre campground located at the Bruneau delta on the south side of the C.J. Strike reservoir. All sites are available for RVs or tents. There is a day-use picnic shelter that can be reserved. Get the latest stream flow and reservoir water level information . Reservation fees are non-refundable. Cancellations If a reservation is canceled 14 days or more prior to the scheduled arrival date, the camping fee will be refunded minus a $10 cancellation charge. If a reservation is canceled 13 days or less prior to the arrival date, the camping fee will be refunded minus a $10 cancellation charge and the first night’s camping fee. View more information on fees, changes and cancellations . Rules There is a 14-day stay limit for all parks. Check-in time is 2 p.m. MDT (local park time). Check-out time is 1 p.m. MDT (local park time). Only one camping unit (maximum eight persons) per designated campsite is permitted. A person may reserve no more than five (5) sites at one campground on the same dates. If more sites are needed, additional reservations must be made by a different person.
